Nuvation’s IVS PoE DM357 reference design converts analog CCTV camera audio/video into compressed Ethernet streams. Based on TI’s DaVinci™ DM357 with integrated ARM926 MCU, the Intelligent Video Streamer supports a wide variety of audio and video codecs as well as video analytics. The hardware is designed such that it can be used as a DaVinci™-based decoder as well. IVS PoE DM357 comes standard with Power-over-Ethernet, and can optionally run off the included 12V DC adapter.

The reference design features TI’s DaVinci™ DM357 DSP, TI Digital Media Software audio and video codecs, embedded Linux, a browser GUI, and a compact mechanical enclosure.
